Love the extra stuff in the digital edition
Love the extra stuff in the digital edition
Need more improvements for Smartphones.
Once I have an issue open, it works as well as or better than the dead tree version. However, opening an issue is a three-step process unlike most other publications that open immediately to where you left off. Totally unnecessary annoyance.
Discover is a very good magazine, and the app delivers it well.
It is absolutely ridiculous to have to pay twice for the digital version of a magazine that I buy the print version for!! Every other magazine that I have provides the online version free for print subscribers. Please fix this!
I enjoy reading one article daily, the information is very interesting, even though I may not remember it but it is useful. 12/3/16. Great source of scientific developments.
Your app may be wonderful, Ill never know! Why? I have subscription for print version but Discover requires another subscription for same mag online. (Other magazines we receive include both print & digital for one subscription.)
I find it useful. Nothing sensational no t it gives me information
You download the app for free but any interesting content costs. Fail.
I discovered theres not much free besides the app download. How do I delete this ??????? And why cant I rate a zero
One of the worlds ten best magazines in the field of science. Now available in digital format.
Note: it takes a day or two for the subscription to go through so that you can download the issues, so dont panic if you cant read the issue right away. I really like this app. I love Discover and Ive had a subscription for years, so when I saw this app, I had to have it. Yes, it does cost money, but most subscriptions do. The initial free status of the app is just to let you get a taste. Makes sense to me, its how the Newsstand works. If you have an iPad and love discover, I obviously recommend this app.
I spent $19. To subscribe, but I cant even find the app to open it. I think I should have my money back.
This app has serious problems. First after subscribing I was able to download only one issue. The next issue the app would only let me purchase. After restoring my purchases (had to do this multiple times over a few days) it now says the latest issue has been downloaded. However when I try to open it, all I get as a black screen with the circle thing indicating downloading. The downloading never ends...
I bought the 1.99 "subscription" and got exactly nothing for it. It is a scam !!
Not only is it asking me to pay for issues Ive already subscribed to (December), it doesnt give me any guidance or way to get in touch with someone who could help resolve this.
The discover app seems to be nothing other then a poorly design, very ugly PDF reader. There doesnt even seem to be a table of contents so I can select an article to jump right to! Im very sad to see that this isnt an innovative, wonderful to use app like the Wired magazine app. I hope that this app is updated ASAP. I definitely will not be renewing my subscription.
This is like reading a pdf or a web page. The column layout does not fit the ipad. You will find yourself enlarging and shifting the text around as if it was a web page. Many times as I tried to adjust so I could read, it bounced back to a different text size and position on the page as I was trying to scroll. So reading the articles is a lot of work on the ipad. I would suggest buying a paper subscription until they actually design their layout FOR the ipad. I did like the content...
the update is in time, and the content is interesting
Better than using all the paper. Timely arrival of edition. Easy to use.
