One might assume that the paper subscription would get one access to the digital version as it does with other magazines. Not so, apparently. Do not download if that is what you are expecting.

Since last update magazine does not load, crashes as soon as loading bar appears.

Could benefit from polish to the interface

I am happy with Discovery Magazine. It is very informative, yet easy to understand.

Very informative and plenty of great articles on many interesting stories. Love the Life Signs series best

Typos and incoherent interface have stopped me from buying a subscription.

The content is what youd expect. The reader, however, is not. While it renders beautifully, it regularly "snaps" back to the top of the page. If, while dragging the page during reading, you bump into the left or right side, the view snaps to the top again. I believe the app sees this as a navigation from the previous or next page, even though you never left the current page. It happens to me at least three time for each page I read, and Im being careful. Infuriating! [downgraded to one star to lash out again at the awful navigation app. I cancelled my subscription solely due to the impossible UI]

Discover is a very good magazine, but the app tends to be finicky.

This app worked great for a while, but now is suddenly finicky and wont open for me

Love the photos and articles. App for tablet needs improvement. Should be able to read without having to navigate the screen around page. Very cumbersome.

I love that you can download previews of each issue and then buy if you so choose. Problem- went to buy the nob issue and I cant. It is frozen on the step of processing request for the last 5 hours. I cant get it to go back or move past that step.

One of the best apps in the newsstand. Works great and very easy to use. This is how a iPad newsstand app is suppose to work.

This is a good way to get an overview of new information and technology. It seems to have gotten simpler over time, but that just might be me!

I had a subscription to discover magazine but never could view any of the issues.

Ive read my first issue (Jan/Feb 15) and enjoyed it very much. The only problem is "clipping" articles. If the articles are sent through the app, the resulting email cant be read. So, clipping an article requires a screen shot, etc. It would be nice to clip and send a readable article directly from the app.
